Khoghuelen Raguraman currently serves as the President & Chief Executive Officer (P/CEO) of the Malaysian Students' Global Alliance (MSGA), a position that underscores his dedication to advancing the organization's mission and impact. Elected in 2025, Khoghuelen’s leadership reflects a bold commitment to reforming MSGA, fostering innovation, and driving meaningful change for the benefit of Malaysian students worldwide.
Khoghuelen’s journey with MSGA has been one of remarkable progression, marked by an unwavering focus on excellence. He began as the Vice President of Corporate & External Relations (VP CER), where he showcased his exceptional ability to forge strategic partnerships and strengthen MSGA's ties with key stakeholders. His talent for operational management was soon recognized, leading to his promotion as Senior Vice President of Operations (SVP OPS). In this capacity, Khoghuelen was instrumental in optimizing MSGA’s internal structures, streamlining processes, and setting the stage for sustainable growth.
Prior to his presidency, Khoghuelen served as Secretary General, a tenure defined by transformative leadership. He spearheaded an organizational overhaul that prioritized governance, long-term sustainability, and member empowerment. His forward-thinking strategies and emphasis on collaboration solidified MSGA’s foundation as a dynamic and inclusive platform for Malaysian students worldwide.
Beyond MSGA, Khoghuelen has honed his expertise in governance, policy, and compliance through his professional experiences. He previously interned in Legal & Compliance Department at MISC Marine (a business unit of MISC Berhad), where he gained valuable insights into regulatory frameworks and corporate governance. His passion for policy and youth empowerment was further demonstrated through his political internship at the Segambut Parliamentary Constituency, where he worked closely with Youth & Sports Minister YB Hannah Yeoh, contributing to initiatives that support youth engagement and community development.
